What cleaning tasks is the coconut sponge suitable for?
The coconut sponge is a natural alternative to conventional scouring pads. The soft side of the sponge is intended for light soiling and delicate surfaces. The scouring side, made of coconut fibers, is ideal for stubborn dirt and does not scratch.

Can the coconut sponge be cleaned in the dishwasher?
Yes, the coconut sponge can be washed several times in the top rack of the dishwasher at a temperature of up to 60 degrees Celsius. However, please note that it cannot be washed as often and is not as durable as our sponge cloths or the pop-up sponge due to its two-layer structure.

Is the coconut sponge compostable?
After use, you can separate the two parts of the sponge and compost the white cellulose side. The scrubbing side of the sponge is currently still covered with a light adhesive layer. We are currently developing a fully compostable version of the scouring sponge.
